                  Isabel Abislaimán Quílez

Isabel’s clients have ranged from high-profile government and corporate entities to small businesses and individuals, running the gamut from banks, hotels, real estate and development companies to publications, architects, artists and filmmakers. She handles civil and commercial claims arising from state and federal laws, having successfully litigated or resolved a variety of civil and commercial matters in Puerto Rico and New York. She has solid experience in complex, multiparty litigation and trial. Successfully pursuing a constitutional freedom of information case from trial court through the Puerto Rico Supreme Court (unpublished opinion) is among her accomplishments.

Emilia has over 25 years of retail sales and management experience in the jewelry industry. Emilia is also experienced in the non-profit sector where, acting as development specialist, she wrote proposals for funding from government agencies, foundations and corporations. She also devised and implemented business plans for non-profits in Manila, The Philippines.


Emilia handles the firm’s automobile financing closings and several civil matters.
